Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with 2.3 to 5 years of experience in product design and development. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in 3D modeling, assembly design, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation, along with hands-on experience in Creo and AutoCAD. The role requires close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify 3D solid models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using Creo and AutoCAD.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
- Design and develop products, fixtures, and sheet metal components based on customer and project requirements.
- Handle large assemblies, perform model validation, interference checks, and design reviews.
- Generate manufacturing drawings with adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in concept design activities from requirement analysis through design realization.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles in design and detailing.
- Support designs involving weldments and fabrication requirements.
- Manage and maintain design data using PLM tools (preferred: Enovia).
- Experience in Semi industry is an added advantage
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2.3 - 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Solid Modeling and Assembly Modeling
- Product Design and Fixture Design
- Sheet Metal Design
- Manufacturing Drawing Creation
- BOM Creation and Engineering Documentation
- Handling Large Assemblies and Model Checks
- Concept Design
- GD&T fundamentals and application
- Basic Welding and Fabrication Concepts
- Experience with PLM tools (Preferred: Enovia).
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
