Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Mechanical BIM Modeler for an on-site role at our Noida office. The Mechanical BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models, collaborating with architects and engineers, and preparing accurate construction drawings. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with technical standards and deliver high-quality outputs for design and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed 3D BIM models of HVAC systems (ducting, piping, equipment layouts) using Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
- Prepare construction documentation, shop drawings, and BOQs in line with project standards.
- Update and maintain models throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating consultant and site feedback.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, and local codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Support BIM execution plans and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related tools
- Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Familiarity with architecture and construction drawings
- Ability to interpret and create detailed construction documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MEP, Navisworks) is essential
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in an MEP or BIM modeling role is an advantage
