MDM Application Engineer (Informatica and Reltio MDM)
We are looking for an MDM Application Monitoring Engineer with hands-on experience in Informatica MDM and Reltio MDM to support the reliability, health and performance of our enterprise master data platforms. This role is part of the platform engineering team and focuses on monitoring MDM events, workflows, API performance, match/merge operations, data quality rules and integration pipelines. The engineer will be responsible for proactive monitoring, incident management and continuous improvement of MDM application stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Informatica MDM and Reltio MDM jobs, events, workflows, match/merge processes, data quality rules, API performance, and integrations.
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and operational checks for MDM application components.
- Troubleshoot MDM failures across ingestion, match/merge, cleanse, survivorship, and publishing layers.
- Collaborate with data engineering, platform teams, and business stakeholders to triage issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring MDM issues and recommend platform improvements.
- Monitor API traffic, authentication flows, and integration health between MDM and downstream systems.
- Support release activities, regression checks, and validation for MDM deployments.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and best practices for MDM operational monitoring.
Qualifications
- 28 years of experience in MDM operations, application support, data platform engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (Hub Console, E360, Business Entity APIs, SIF APIs, match/merge, User Exits, Java, workflows, batch jobs, Address Cleansing via Address Doctor).
- Hands-on experience with Reltio MDM (entity models, survivorship rules, match rules, workflows, API monitoring, LCA/DQ tasks, Data Validations, Dat Cleansings, RIH Recipes, third-Party Connectors - D&B, BQ, Address cleansing via Locate).
- Strong understanding of MDM processes: profiling, cleansing, match/merge, hierarchy management, survivorship, and publishing.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot API performance, integration pipelines, and MDM event logs.
- Experience with dashboarding/monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in production support and incident management.
- Exposure to SQL, REST APIs, and data quality tools is preferred.
