Role Overview We are seeking an experienced MDM Business Analyst (Onsite) to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. This role focuses on translating business requirements into MDM functional specifications, defining data quality and governance rules, and ensuring trusted master data across enterprise systems.

The MDM Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, governance teams, and technical MDM/Data Quality teams to support analytics, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and MDM technical teams Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Master Data (Customer, Product, Supplier, Location, etc.)

Define MDM business rules, data quality rules, validation logic, and survivorship rules

Support data profiling and data quality analysis to identify issues and improvement opportunities

Collaborate with Data Quality and MDM teams on rule implementation, scorecards, and remediation workflows Define and maintain data governance artifacts: business glossaries, data definitions, ownership, and stewardship workflows

Analyze root causes of data issues and work with source system owners to resolve them

Support MDM onboarding, source system integration, and data harmonization efforts

Work closely with Data Stewards on exception handling and issue resolution Participate in UAT, data validation, production deployments, and post-go-live support Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards, policies, and compliance requirements Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and reporting metrics

Monitor data quality trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives

Mandatory Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in MDM / Data Governance / Data Quality initiatives

Strong understanding of Master Data domains (Customer, Product, Supplier, etc.)

Hands-on experience with MDM business rule definition, survivorship, matching, and validation concepts Strong exposure to Data Quality processes: profiling, standardization, validation, exception handling

Experience working with MDM platforms (Informatica MDM preferred)

Working knowledge of Informatica IDQ / CDQ from a functional or governance perspective

Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation

Experience in requirements gathering, BRD, FRD, and user stories Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and release management processes Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills

Onsite presence required

Preferred Skills Experience with Informatica MDM, Axon, Data Catalog, or IDMC Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage Experience supporting Analytics, BI, AI/ML, or Regulatory reporting initiatives

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments Prior experience working closely with data stewards and governance councils
