Description
We are seeking a skilled MD Microbiologist to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological analyses, supervising laboratory staff, and collaborating with clinical teams to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological tests and analyses to diagnose infections and diseases.
- Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures for microbiological testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
- Supervise and train laboratory staff in microbiological techniques and safety practices.
- Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to interpret test results and provide recommendations for treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory work and results, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Participate in research projects and contribute to publications in the field of microbiology.
Skills and Qualifications
- MD in Microbiology or equivalent qualification.
- 1-10 years of experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance protocols in microbiology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clinical teams and patients effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
