Industry & Sector: Healthcare Oncology and Radiation Therapy services. We operate a tertiary oncology practice delivering curative and palliative radiotherapy using modern linear accelerators, brachytherapy suites and multidisciplinary cancer-care pathways. This on-site role is based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and focuses on high-quality, evidence-based radiation oncology for adult and pediatric patients.

Primary Title: Radiation Oncologist (MD/DNB)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive radiation oncology care: evaluate patients, stage disease, prescribe and oversee radiotherapy treatment plans across curative and palliative pathways.
  • Plan and supervise delivery of advanced techniques including EBRT, IMRT, VMAT, SRS and brachytherapyensure accurate contouring, dosimetry review and plan approval.
  • Perform and oversee CT simulation, image-guided setup, daily verification and adaptive adjustments in collaboration with medical physicists and RTTs.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumour boards, coordinate care with surgical and medical oncology colleagues and contribute to shared decision-making.
  • Monitor, document, and manage treatment-related toxicities and complications; provide survivorship follow-up and palliative interventions when required.
  • Maintain high standards of radiation safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and clinical documentation; contribute to audits and peer-review processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MD or DNB in Radiation Oncology with valid medical registration in India.
  • Proven clinical experience in planning and delivering EBRT, IMRT and VMAT.
  • Competence in brachytherapy procedures and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with CT simulation and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).
  • Familiarity with treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, Monaco, Oncentra) and contouring conventions.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, QA protocols and toxicity management.

Preferred

  • Experience with stereotactic techniques (SRS/SBRT) and advanced LINAC platforms.
  • Prior work in a tertiary cancer centre or multidisciplinary oncology department.
  • Exposure to clinical research, trial protocols or quality-improvement initiatives in oncology.
