About The Opportunity
Healthcare Hospital & Clinical Services (Primary & Secondary Care). We are staffing a full-time on-site General Medicine Consultant to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient medical care in Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh. Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care for adult patientsadmissions, ward rounds, diagnosis, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and outpatient follow-up.
- Assess and manage acute medical emergencies in the emergency department and high-dependency/ICU areas; stabilise patients and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
- Order, interpret and act on laboratory and imaging investigations (including ECG and bedside ultrasound) and optimise evidence-based therapeutics.
- Lead and supervise junior doctors, medical officers, and nursing staff; ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and medication safety standards.
- Participate in clinical governance activitiesmortality & morbidity reviews, audits, quality improvement projects and implementation of standard treatment guidelines.
- Maintain accurate medical records in the hospital EMR, support teleconsultation or community outreach clinics as needed, and contribute to patient education and continuity of care.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MD (General Medicine) or DNB (General Medicine).
- Registered with the relevant State Medical Council / NMC for clinical practice in India.
- Proven experience managing inpatient and outpatient general medicine caseloads in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated competency in acute care, emergency stabilisation and basic ICU management.
- Current ACLS certification and strong skills in ECG interpretation and bedside decision-making.
- Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR).
Preferred
- Experience working in secondary-care hospitals or rural/semi-urban clinical settings (advantage for Sendhwa location).
- Additional training or exposure to critical care, pulmonology or infectious diseases.
- Familiarity with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and ventilator management.
