A clinical services role within the healthcare delivery sector supporting primary and secondary care operations in Uttar Pradesh. This on-site position is focused on hospital-based patient care, emergency response, inpatient management and outpatient consultations at the Jalalabad facility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide on-site medical care as the Resident Medical Officer (RMO): perform clinical rounds, assess inpatients, and manage routine admissions and discharges.
- Triage and stabilise emergency presentations; initiate urgent management and coordinate timely referrals to specialists or higher centres when required.
- Conduct outpatient consultations, write prescriptions, order and interpret basic investigations (ECG, labs, X-rays) and follow up results.
- Perform common clinical procedures: IV cannulation, wound care, sample collection, and basic airway management as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, prepare discharge summaries, and ensure timely handovers between shifts to maintain continuity of care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, technicians and administrative teams to uphold clinical protocols, infection control and patient-safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree from a recognised medical college
- Active medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council or National Medical Commission
- Demonstrable experience in hospital clinical care (emergency, inpatient or outpatient settings)
- Willingness to work on-site in Jalalabad, UP across rotating day/night shifts
Preferred
- Postgraduate training or internship exposure in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, or Community Health
- Prior experience as an RMO, house physician or similar hospital-grade clinical post
