About The Opportunity

Healthcare delivery Hospital & Clinical Services sector. We staff on-site inpatient and emergency care units providing 24/7 clinical coverage, acute medical management and patient stabilization for a busy multispecialty facility in Gandhidham, Gujarat.

Primary Job Title (standardized): Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site clinical coverage as the RMO: assess, stabilize and manage patients presenting to emergency, wards and observation areas during assigned duty shifts.
  • Perform emergency procedures including intravenous cannulation, airway management, continuous monitoring and initial resuscitation per protocols.
  • Manage admission/discharge workflows and coordinate with specialists for timely referrals and escalation of care.
  • Document clinical findings, treatment plans and handover notes accurately in patient records and hospital systems at each shift change.
  • Administer and monitor emergency medications, basic investigations and point-of-care tests; escalate abnormal results to consultants promptly.
  • Participate in on-call rosters, clinical audits, infection control protocols and routine quality & safety activities.

  • Emergency patient assessment
  • Acute medical care
  • Intravenous cannulation
  • Wound management and suturing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must-Have (Qualifications)

  • MBBS qualification
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council/National or State Medical Council
  • Proven experience in hospital duty/shift-based clinical roles (emergency ward/inpatient care)
  • Willingness to work on-site in Gandhidham with rotating shifts and night duty availability

Preferred

  • ACLS recertification or advanced emergency life support training
  • Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) training
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or hospital information systems
