Day to Day
- Create a detailed Plan For Every Part (PFEP) capturing purchased good usage, lead times, ordering methods, MOQs, and consumption points, enabling accurate demand and replenishment planning.
- Update inventory norms (min, max, safety stock) so materials were ordered at the right time and in the right quantities.
- Analyze demand and supply planning processes to ensure material flow matches production requirements.
- Conduct a material storage analysis and redesigned slotting to assign every part a proper location.
- Implementation support to include reorganizing items according to usage and handling requirements.
- Revise layout improved flow, reduced congestion, and returned materials to disciplined storage zones.
- Reviewing data for symptoms of material shortages, obsolete material, material incorrectly stored, phantom inventory, premium freight, over ordering, large variance between book inventory and physical counts, and slow moving materials with solutions in mind for each of them, once we understand the warehouse reality after starting the engagement.
