Job Title: Master Black Belt Program Manager

Experience: 12+ Years

Work Location: Trivandrum, Kerala

Role Overview:

The Master Black Belt Program Manager will be the strategic driver of continuous improvement, automation, and operational optimization across H&R Block India. This leader will guide Black Belts, partner with senior leadership, and work cross‑functionally with Business, HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to identify and execute high‑impact transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Black Belts on end-to-end process excellence and automation projects.
  • Drive a structured and scalable improvement framework across departments.

Transformation & Optimization

  • Oversee large, complex, and high-impact initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and waste elimination.
  • Evaluate end‑to‑end workflows across HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, and Client-facing functions.

Cross-Functional Consultation

  • Conduct senior-level discussions with functional heads to identify pain points and breakthrough opportunities.
  • Facilitate structured interviews, process walkthroughs, and value-stream mapping sessions.

Governance & Change Enablement

  • Establish measurement frameworks, success metrics, and governance structures for continuous improvement.
  • Drive adoption of Lean Six Sigma principles and build a culture of data-driven decision making.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master Black Belt certification (mandatory).
  • 12+ years of experience in process excellence, transformation, Lean/Six Sigma, or automation consulting.
  • Proven success in leading enterprise-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Legal, IT).
  • Exposure to automation tools (RPA, workflow automation platforms, AI/ML–based process optimization) is preferred.
