Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Marketplace Manager to own and scale our Amazon business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving product visibility, managing marketplace operations, optimizing advertising campaigns, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, and a deep understanding of marketplace growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Management

  • Own end-to-end management of the Amazon Seller Central account.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and overall marketplace growth.
  • Manage catalog creation, product listings, variations, A+ Content, Brand Store, and storefront optimization.
  • Ensure catalog accuracy and maintain listing hygiene.
  • Monitor account health and resolve policy, compliance, and suppression issues.

Listing Optimization

  • Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, and images.
  • Improve organic search rankings through keyword research and Amazon SEO.
  • Coordinate with design and content teams for creatives, A+ Content, videos, and enhanced brand content.

Advertising & Growth

  • Plan, execute, and optimize Amazon Ads including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP (if applicable).
  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as ROAS, ACoS, TACoS, CTR, Conversion Rate, and Sales.
  • Launch promotional campaigns, Lightning Deals, Coupons, and seasonal offers.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve visibility and increase conversions.

Inventory & Operations

  • Forecast demand and coordinate inventory planning with the supply chain team.
  • Ensure healthy inventory levels and minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Monitor FBA inventory, replenishment cycles, and fulfillment performance.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for timely order fulfillment.

Pricing & Competition

  • Track competitor pricing and market trends.
  • Recommend pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
  • Manage Buy Box performance and pricing optimization.

Data & Reporting

  • Analyze marketplace performance using Seller Central reports and business analytics.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business reports with actionable insights.
  • Track sales, traffic, conversion rates, advertising performance, inventory, and profitability.
  • Recommend strategies to improve marketplace performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Brand, Marketing, Performance Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Support teams.
  • Support new product launches and GTM strategies on Amazon.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and Amazon account managers whenever required.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
  • Expertise in Amazon SEO and listing optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Advertising (PPC).
  • Experience with A+ Content, Brand Registry, and Brand Store.
  • Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Understanding of inventory planning and demand forecasting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience managing Amazon marketplaces for a D2C or consumer brand.

Experience in Beauty, Personal Care, FMCG, Wellness, Fashion, or Lifestyle brands is preferred.

Familiarity with marketplace analytics tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataHawk, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
