We are looking for a Marketplace Ads Manager who can drive growth by managing and optimizing retail media and marketplace advertising campaigns across quick commerce and major e-commerce platforms.

Role Overview

As a Marketplace Ads Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across quick commerce and e-commerce marketplaces to drive product visibility, category ranking, and revenue growth.

This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with retail media platforms and marketplace advertising, and the ability to scale product sales through data-driven campaign optimization.

You will work closely with the growth, sales, and operations teams to align advertising strategy with inventory planning, pricing strategy, and product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace & Quick Commerce Advertising

Plan, launch, and manage advertising campaigns across Blinkit Ads, Zepto Ads, Swiggy Instamart retail media, Amazon Ads, and Flipkart Ads.

Manage different ad formats including:

  • Sponsored search ads
  • Keyword bidding campaigns
  • Banner and display ads
  • Category visibility ads
  • Product promotion campaigns

Optimize campaigns to improve:

  • ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
  • ACOS / TACOS
  • CTR and conversion rates
  • SKU-level revenue performance

Drive top-of-search visibility and category ranking improvements for key products.

  • Performance Optimization & Revenue Growth

Continuously optimize ad campaigns to maximize sales, profitability, and incremental revenue growth.

Scale high-performing SKUs by:

  • Increasing keyword visibility
  • Improving sponsored search performance
  • Expanding campaign coverage

Identify hero SKUs and growth opportunities within product categories.

Support revenue growth through seasonal promotions, high-traffic sale events, and new product launches.

  • SKU Performance & Listing Optimization

Improve product discoverability by optimizing:

  • Product titles and keywords
  • Search term strategy
  • Product creatives and content
  • Conversion triggers within listings

Work closely with the product and growth teams to improve listing performance and conversion rates.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze campaign performance using platform dashboards and SKU-level data.

Track and report key metrics such as:

  • ROAS
  • Revenue contribution
  • ACOS / TACOS
  • Conversion rates
  • Category ranking and visibility

Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration

Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to align advertising with inventory planning and avoid stock-outs.

Support new product launches with structured advertising strategies to accelerate early sales and category visibility.

Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and advertising trends within marketplaces.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in Marketplace Advertising, E-commerce Performance Marketing, or Retail Media Advertising
  • Hands-on experience managing ads on Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of PPC campaigns, keyword bidding, and sponsored search advertising
  • Ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for campaign analysis and reporting
  • Experience managing advertising budgets and delivering ROAS-driven growth
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with D2C brands in skincare, cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG
  • Familiarity with retail media platforms and marketplace algorithms
  • Understanding of product ranking factors and marketplace visibility strategies
  • Experience scaling high-volume SKUs or consumer product categories
