The organization operates in the skincare, cosmetics, and FMCG space, building and scaling consumer brands across e-commerce and quick commerce platforms.
Role Overview
As a Marketplace Ads Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across quick commerce and e-commerce marketplaces.
The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with marketplace ads, and the ability to scale product sales through data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with growth, sales, and operations teams to align advertising strategy with inventory planning, pricing, and product launches.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Quick Commerce Advertising
- Plan, launch, and manage advertising campaigns across Blinkit Ads, Zepto Ads, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon Ads, and Flipkart Ads
- Manage ad formats including sponsored search, keyword campaigns, banner ads, and product promotions
- Optimize campaigns to improve ROAS, ACOS/TACOS, CTR, and conversion rates
- Drive top-of-search visibility and improve category rankings
Performance Optimization & Revenue Growth
- Continuously optimize campaigns to maximize sales and profitability
- Scale high-performing SKUs through keyword expansion and campaign optimization
- Identify growth opportunities across product categories
- Support seasonal campaigns, sale events, and new product launches
SKU Performance & Listing Optimization
- Improve product discoverability through keyword and content optimization
- Enhance product listings including titles, creatives, and descriptions
- Work with internal teams to improve conversion rates and listing performance
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze campaign performance using dashboards and reports
- Monitor key metrics including ROAS, ACOS, revenue contribution, and conversion rates
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and operations teams for inventory alignment
- Support product launches with structured ad strategies
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and marketplace trends
Required Skills & Experience
- 25 years of experience in marketplace advertising or performance marketing
- Hands-on experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, or Instamart ads
- Strong understanding of PPC campaigns, keyword bidding, and sponsored ads
- Ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns based on performance
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience managing ad budgets and driving ROI
Preferred Experience
- Experience in D2C brands (skincare, cosmetics, FMCG preferred)
- Understanding of marketplace algorithms and ranking factors
- Experience scaling high-volume SKUs or product categories
