Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Lead with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with key SFMC tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, AMPscript, and SQLalong with integration, leadership, and strategic execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Automation Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data-driven marketing automation workflows.
- Execute strategic initiatives using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, and more.
SFMC Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers, analysts, and admins.
- Guide architectural decisions and ensure alignment with SFMC best practices and compliance standards.
Implementation & Customization
- Develop and maintain marketing assets including:
- Email templates
- Landing pages
- Data extensions
- AMPscript-driven dynamic content
- Build and optimize end-to-end multi-channel journeys.
Data Integration & Management
- Integrate SFMC with CRM systems (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Manage data integrity and hygiene across platforms to ensure personalized customer journeys.
Analytics & Campaign Optimization
- Perform A/B testing, track campaign KPIs, and report actionable insights via Power BI, Tableau, or native SFMC analytics.
- Provide recommendations to enhance engagement and performance metrics.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure adherence to data privacy laws and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in all campaign activities.
Process Management
- Maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and workflows.
- Use tools such as JIRA or other ticketing systems for task tracking, prioritization, and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 58 years of relevant experience with at least 3+ years in SFMC as a lead or senior developer.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Audience Builder
- AMPscript and SQL for dynamic content and segmentation
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript for email/landing page customization
- API Integrations and CRM syncing
- Hands-on experience integrating SFMC with platforms like Salesforce CRM or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with ownership over resolution.
- Proficient in campaign performance analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities.
Nice to Have:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification (Email Specialist, Developer, Consultant)
- Experience with data governance and scalable architecture
- Knowledge of Mobile Studio, Ad Studio, or CloudPages
- Experience in FinTech, Retail, or B2C domains
