About Marketing
The Marketing Department plays a vital role in promoting the Axis Brand and building scale for subsidiaries. The Key role of the marketing function is to influence consumer behavior & help the various businesses of the bank achieve their business goals by developing a cohesive brand & marketing strategy that drives awareness, affinity & therefore consideration for Brand Axis. Marketing department is also the custodian of Brand Axis, (i.e.) What does the Brand stand for, Our Brand Philosophy etc. .
About the Role
1. The candidate has to plan and execute retail activation and the experiential marketing efforts for the brand
2.Conceptualise national activation programs and execute them at circle/city/ branch level with the help of internal team/ agencies
3.Develop standardised template for activations which act as the go-to guide for understanding the activity, business and marketing objective, process to be followed before and after the day of event etc.
4.This is role has which has a good mix of program creation and project management.
5.The candidate needs to evaluate local and national tie-ups, develop programs in association with the partners and effectively execute these activation and experiential program with mutual benefits
6.Closely work with the Lead-Activations and experiential marketing, product, business and regional teams to plan activation calendar and flawlessly execute the same to get the desired results
Key Responsibilities
1.Develop a 3 to 6 month activation plan for the non-profitable branches and ensure flawless execution.
2.Work closely with the regional and circle level marketing teams to understand the on ground requirements and design activation plans accordingly
3.Work closely with the products and the brand marketing teams to create activations programs for new product launch and connect the brand and product though on ground
4.Develop/ design/ improvise on the lead generation mechanism and create a robust process for ongoing marketing lead generations
5.The activation programs needs to be ably supported by media both/ either local and national media depending upon the need and the nature of activation program.
6.Manage Product communication across the organization including creating excitement around new product/feature launches, channeling product feedback and managing issue resolution.
7.Identify opportunities for campaigns that will lead to an increase in sales.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate should have about 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in retail marketing, activation, experiential marketing and events and should have excellent Co-ordination skills. Working in similar role in telecom, financial services, retail category, activation agency etc.
Preferred to have an MBA in marketing or retail management from premium institute.

To an extent s/he should be an out of the box thinker with excellent relationship building skills. The incumbent is required to be a self-starter, energetic, result-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic.Analytical acumen, team player, paired with agile mindset and can do attitude. Business driven, proactive and entrepreneur mentality. Customer-, target- and result-oriented. Has an open mindset towards, embraces and continuously initiates and implements change.
