Marketing Manager (Hands-On Execution | B2B SaaS Higher Education)

Location

Pune (In-Office Only)

This is a strictly in-office role. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered.

Salary Range

Fixed + Incentives

Fixed - Around 4LPA to 6LPA

Incentives around Rs. 1L - 2L

Experience

23 years in digital marketing / growth / demand generation

(Agency experience preferred)

As we scale rapidly, building a strong in-house marketing and lead generation engine is critical. This role plays a direct and high-impact part in Studium's next phase of growth.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on, execution-first marketing role not a people management role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can design, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns independently
  • Is comfortable working directly with tools, platforms, data, and leads
  • Understands B2B SaaS marketing, especially in the higher education ecosystem
  • Takes ownership of lead generation and inside sales coordination

Key Responsibilities1. Email Marketing & Marketing Automation (Critical Responsibility)

  • Independently create and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Design and manage:
  • Email flows
  • Drip campaigns
  • Nurture sequences
  • Cold and warm outreach workflows
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Marketing funnels
  • Segmentation and personalization
  • Deliverability, open rates, CTRs, and conversions
  • Ability to configure, manage, and optimize email workflows end-to-end

2. Lead Generation & Inside Sales Execution (High Ownership)

  • Own lead generation targets through:
  • Email marketing
  • LinkedIn outreach
  • Website inbound campaigns
  • Manage the entire inside sales flow, including:
  • First contact with leads
  • Lead qualification
  • Scheduling demos with the team
  • Follow-ups and reminders
  • Proposal sharing and coordination
  • Maintain proper lead tracking and communication discipline

This role directly contributes to revenue and growth lead quality and follow-through matter.3. SEO & Organic Growth

  • Hands-on expertise in:
  • On-page SEO
  • Off-page SEO
  • Keyword research and SEO strategy
  • Plan and execute long-term SEO roadmap aligned with B2B SaaS growth
  • Work with tools like:
  • Google Search Console
  • Keyword research tools
  • SEO audit tools
  • Coordinate SEO strategy with website and content updates

4. Website Management (Framer)

  • Hands-on experience with Framer
  • Ability to:
  • Update website content
  • Create and manage landing pages
  • Make basic structural and content changes
  • Work independently without agency dependency for day-to-day website needs

5. Social Media & Community Management

  • Manage and grow:
  • LinkedIn (primary platform)
  • Instagram
  • WhatsApp (broadcasts, campaign communication)
  • Create and execute:
  • Monthly social media calendars
  • Campaign-driven posts
  • Thought leadership and brand-building content
  • Clear understanding of B2B vs B2C content strategy

6. Creative Execution (Design & Video)

  • Hands-on with Canva for:
  • Social media creatives
  • Carousels and announcements
  • Basic video editing skills for:
  • Short videos
  • Reels
  • Simple edits for LinkedIn and Instagram

(Advanced editing is not required execution speed and clarity matter more.)

7. Analytics, Tracking & Performance

  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Search Console
  • Ability to:
  • Track campaign performance
  • Analyze lead sources and funnels
  • Optimize based on data and insights
  • Comfortable experimenting with new and relevant B2B marketing tools

8. B2B Higher Education Marketing Understanding

  • Understanding of how marketing works in the B2B higher education ecosystem
  • Ability to communicate with decision-makers such as:
  • Directors
  • Deans
  • IQAC heads
  • Academic leadership teams
  • Translate institutional pain points into clear, effective marketing communication

Preferred Background

  • 23 years of hands-on marketing experience
  • Agency background preferred, as it brings exposure to:
  • Campaign execution
  • Multi-channel marketing
  • Structured workflows
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, education, or enterprise products is a strong plus
