Role Description
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution for SHRM India's flagship conferences and key product portfolios. This role requires a marketer who combines strong B2C instincts with B2B depth, someone who understands how to build buzz, drive demand, and convert audiences at scale. You will be responsible for creating high-impact campaigns that not only deliver audience interest but also strengthen SHRM's positioning as a thought leader in the world of work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Lead end-to-end marketing for SHRM conferences and other product lines
- Design integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, partnerships, and on-ground activations
- Build high-conversion funnels from awareness to registration
2. Demand Generation & Growth
- Drive delegate registrations, engagement, and revenue impact
- Optimize performance marketing campaigns (paid media, retargeting, lookalikes)
- Leverage marketing automation tools for lead nurturing and conversion
3. Content & Brand Storytelling
- Translate complex HR themes into simple, compelling narratives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to create thought leadership content, campaigns, and IPs
- Ensure consistency of brand voice across all touchpoints
4. Digital & AI-Led Marketing
- Use AI tools and platforms to enhance productivity, personalization, and campaign performance
- Drive experimentation with new-age marketing formats (short-form video, interactive content, etc.)
- Stay ahead of trends in consumer behavior, content, and platform algorithms
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, sales, and partnerships teams to align marketing with business goals
- Work with agencies and internal teams for design, media, and content execution
6. Analytics & Optimization
- Track campaign performance across channels
- Use data to continuously optimize ROI, CAC, and conversion rates
- Build dashboards and reports for leadership visibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing (preferably with strong B2C exposure)
- Proven track record of running high-impact campaigns and driving measurable growth
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, digital ecosystems, and funnels
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
