Role :Marketing Manager (Customer Lifecycle)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven CLM (Customer Lifecycle Marketing) Manager to lead the design and execution of comprehensive customer lifecycle marketing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing marketing campaigns that engage customers across every stage of their journeyfrom awareness and acquisition through onboarding, engagement, and retention.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the EdTech landscape, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to leverage marketing automation platforms and data analytics to drive customer engagement and business outcomes. This is a critical role that bridges marketing strategy with operational execution, ensuring that every customer touchpoint delivers value and drives measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Lifecycle Strategy & Planning

You will develop and execute a comprehensive customer lifecycle marketing strategy that aligns with Hero Vired's business objectives. This includes mapping the complete customer journey, identifying key touchpoints and moments of truth, and designing targeted campaigns for each stage of the lifecycle. You will work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to understand customer needs and pain points, and translate these insights into compelling marketing initiatives.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing automation workflows across multiple channels including email, SMS, in-app messaging, and web. This includes creating customer segmentation strategies, developing personalized messaging and content, and setting up automated nurture campaigns that guide customers through their lifecycle.

Data Analysis & Performance Optimization

A key aspect of this role is leveraging data to drive continuous improvement. You will track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics and KPIs including customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), engagement rates, conversion rates, retention rates, and churn metrics. You will conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to optimize campaign performance, identify trends and patterns in customer behavior, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Content Development & Personalization

You will oversee the creation and curation of engaging, relevant content that resonates with customers at each stage of their lifecycle. This includes developing email content, landing page copy, in-app messaging, SMS campaigns, and educational resources. You will ensure that all content is personalized based on customer segments, behaviors, and preferences, and that messaging is consistent with Hero Vired's brand voice and values.

Customer Engagement & Retention

You will develop and implement initiatives to drive customer engagement and reduce churn. This includes designing loyalty programs, creating win-back campaigns for at-risk customers, and implementing feedback loops to continuously improve the customer experience. You will monitor customer health metrics and proactively identify opportunities to increase engagement and satisfaction.

Marketing Technology & Tools

You will be responsible for selecting, implementing, and optimizing marketing technology tools and platforms. This includes marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other marketing technology solutions. You will ensure that all tools are properly configured, integrated, and leveraged to support marketing objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience & Education

Candidates should have 4-7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2-3 years focused on customer lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation. Experience in the EdTech, SaaS, or online education industry is highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required. An MBA or certification in digital marketing is a strong plus.

Core Competencies

  • Marketing Automation Expertise: Advanced proficiency with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Klaviyo. Strong understanding of automation workflows, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and optimize campaigns. Proficiency with analytics tools, spreadsheets, and data visualization is essential. Basic SQL or Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Content Development: Excellent writing and content creation skills with the ability to develop compelling, customer-centric messaging. Understanding of content strategy and the ability to create content that resonates with different customer segments.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behaviors. Ability to think from the customer's perspective and design experiences that deliver value at every touchpoint.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop long-term marketing strategies that align with business objectives. Strong business acumen and understanding of how marketing drives business outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
