About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will be managing a portfolio of INR 300 Crs+ with all the Leader brands in the respective segment. You will responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that maximize brand awareness, market share, and profitability within a defined budget. You will lead a talented team of marketing professionals, overseeing all aspects of marketing activities from strategic planning and campaign creation to market research and sales forecasting.

THERAPY - Cardiovascular or Cardio - Diabetes

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand market trends, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour.
  • Lead the creation and execution of effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, print, and healthcare professional outreach.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI) along with P&L management
  • Handhold the team and provide conceptual clarity to the team
  • Develop and interpret brand positioning and messaging for all marketing initiatives.
  • Forecast product demand and sales to inform production and sales strategies.
  • Oversee the activities of the marketing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, research & development, medical affairs) to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and adaptation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the pharmaceutical marketing landscape.
  • Ensure compliance guideline are followed while promoting brands to HCP's

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving brand growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field, preferably with a specialization in marketing or healthcare marketing.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment for pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Experience in managing and leading a marketing team.
  • Budget management and financial acumen.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and best practices.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Project management skills to ensure timely and successful completion of marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills to develop clear, concise, and compelling marketing materials.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software & Digital Marketing
  • Fluency in medical terminology a plus.
