Job Title: Marketing Manager Restaurant / Hospitality
Job Overview
We are looking for a creative, strategic, and execution-driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing initiatives of our restaurant brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving guest footfall, increasing brand visibility, planning promotional campaigns, organizing events & food festivals, and managing digital marketing content.
The candidate should have strong skills in campaign planning, social media marketing, event execution, partnerships, and graphic design (Canva preferred) to create compelling marketing materials.
This role requires someone who understands the restaurant and hospitality industry, customer behaviour, and how to convert marketing ideas into revenue-generating campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business goals.
- Plan campaigns to increase restaurant footfall, reservations, and delivery orders.
- Identify target customer segments and build strategies to attract them.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
2. Promotions, Offers & Campaigns
- Design and implement promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and themed experiences.
- Conceptualize happy hours, brunch campaigns, festive promotions, and loyalty offers.
- Create attractive packages and offers that increase guest frequency and spending.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth execution of promotions.
3. Food Festivals & Events
- Conceptualize and execute food festivals, chef specials, tasting menus, and themed dining events.
- Plan collaborations with chefs, mixologists, influencers, and brands.
- Organize special occasions events such as:
- New menu launches
- Festive celebrations
- Wine dinners
- Cocktail nights
- Live music events
4. Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Manage and grow the restaurant's presence on platforms such as:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- Google
- Zomato / Swiggy listings
- Plan monthly content calendars.
- Coordinate photography, reels, and storytelling content.
- Track engagement and improve reach, impressions, and audience growth.
5. Graphic Design & Creative Development
- Create visually appealing marketing creatives using Canva or similar tools.
- Design:
- Social media posts
- Event posters
- Promotional banners
- Emailers
- Table tent cards
- Digital menus
- Maintain brand consistency and aesthetic across all communications.
6. Influencer & PR Collaborations
- Identify and collaborate with food bloggers, influencers, and media houses.
- Plan influencer events and tasting experiences.
- Build relationships with local media and lifestyle publications.
- Generate PR coverage and brand mentions.
7. Customer Engagement & CRM
- Build strategies for customer retention and loyalty programs.
- Drive birthday/anniversary marketing campaigns.
- Monitor online reviews and reputation management.
- Improve guest engagement via email marketing and WhatsApp campaigns.
8. Partnerships & Brand Collaborations
- Develop partnerships with:
- Luxury brands
- Alcohol brands
- Lifestyle brands
- Event companies
- Create co-branded events and promotions.
9. Reservations & Footfall Growth
- Work with the reservations team to increase bookings and walk-ins.
- Plan campaigns during low footfall periods.
- Improve weekday occupancy and table turnover.
10. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track performance of campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor marketing ROI and customer acquisition cost.
- Provide weekly and monthly marketing performance reports.
- Use data insights to improve future campaigns.
