Role: Marketing Manager Community, Campaigns & Brand Growth

Role Summary
We're looking for a *Marketing Manager who builds Basil as a brand, not just a page*.
This role owns *offline visibility, community building, and high-impact online campaigns*, ensuring Basil's vision reaches people consistentlyon ground and on screen.
You will act as the *bridge between brand, community, and growth*, translating Basil's mission into meaningful consumer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offline Marketing, Community & Brand Visibility (Core Focus)
- Build and scale partnerships with *gyms, colleges, corporate parks, wellness hubs, local communities and LSM - Local store marketing*
- Conceptualise and execute *on-ground activations*, pop-ups, samplings, marathons, fests, and fairs
- Own and execute *Basil-led events* (health fests, workshops, recipe sessions, community meetups)
- Design *college ambassador programs* and community-led growth initiatives
- Build and manage relationships with *local and national influencers* (fitness, lifestyle, Gen Z)
- Collaborate with media and city pages (SoDelhi, LBB, WhatsHot, etc.)
- Coordinate closely with *Ops* to ensure flawless on-ground execution
- Maintain an annual/quarterly calendar of *relevant events & participation opportunities*
2. Online Marketing & Social Media Growth
- Own Basil's *content strategy and content calendar* across platforms
- Scale *reach, engagement, and follower growth* with strong storytelling
- Collaborate with creators, freelancers, and designers to produce high-quality content
- Use *AI tools (GPT, etc.)* for ideation, captioning, campaign narratives, and speed
- Track content performance and continuously iterate based on insights
- Run and optimise *paid social campaigns* with clear budgets and ROI thinking
3. Campaign Ownership & Execution
- Lead *festival-based, mission-driven, and launch campaigns* end-to-end
- Design *store launch playbooks*: pre-buzz, geo-targeted ads, influencer visits, LinkedIn storytelling
- Execute *customer retention & loyalty campaigns* (repeat, referrals, community loyalty)
- Own campaign planning: ideation budgeting execution post-analysis
- Continuously experiment with creative formats to drive brand recall and love
4. Online Presence & Listings Management
- Ensure Basil is listed, updated, and visually strong across *all discovery platforms*
- Drive *regular photoshoots and content upgrades* for listings and digital presence
- Maintain brand consistency across platforms and touchpoints
KPIs & Success Metrics
- Growth in *followers, reach, and engagement*
- Brand recall and visibility*, starting with Delhi NCR
- Quality and consistency of offline presence & events
- Successful execution of store launches and campaigns
- Community growth (ambassadors, repeat engagement, collaborations)
What a Day Looks Like
- Ideating on new campaigns and community ideas
- Talking to influencers, event organisers, and community partners
- Coordinating with ops for on-ground activations
- Reviewing content performance and refining strategy
- Aligning freelancers/designers for shoots and creatives
- Planning upcoming fests, workshops, and launches
- Overall: Thinking like a brand owner, not a task executor*
Ideal Profile
- 36 years experience in *brand marketing/community/growth marketing*
- Strong offline marketing exposure (events, partnerships, activations)
- Hands-on with social media, content, and ads
- Comfortable coordinating multiple teams and vendors
- Creative, street-smart, execution-driven
- Passionate about health, lifestyle, and community-led brands
