We're building a high-growth career-tech brand and looking for a creative, ambitious Marketing Intern who wants to make a real impact.

The Role

We're looking for a social-first, creative and execution-focused Marketing Intern who understands what makes content go viral and knows how to turn ideas into engaging Reels, posts, and campaigns.

You'll take ownership of HikeCatalyst's organic social media presence, especially Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube Shorts, helping us grow brand awareness, engagement, qualified leads and customer acquisition.

This isn't an internship where you simply observe. You'll create, experiment, publish, analyze and directly contribute to our growth.

What You'll Do

• Social Media Management: Create, schedule and publish engaging content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
• Reels & Short-Form Videos: Conceptualize, script, shoot and edit engaging Reels, Shorts and educational videos.
• Trend Research: Identify trending audio, viral formats, memes, hooks and storytelling techniques, adapting them to career and job-search content.
• Content Creation: Design high-quality carousels, graphics, Stories, infographics and promotional creatives using Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
• Content Strategy: Build and execute weekly content calendars focused on reach, engagement and lead generation.
• Growth Marketing: Experiment with organic growth strategies, community engagement, collaborations and creative campaigns.
• AI-Powered Marketing: Use ChatGPT and other AI tools for content ideation, copywriting, video scripts and faster content production.
• Community Building: Engage with audiences, respond to comments and support conversations with prospective customers.
• Competitor Research: Analyze successful career-tech brands, creators and marketing campaigns to identify growth opportunities.
• Performance Analytics: Track views, reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic and leads.
• Paid Marketing Support: Assist with Meta Ads, creative testing and basic campaign performance analysis.
• Brand Storytelling: Turn candidate success stories, career tips, interview advice and salary insights into compelling content.

Who We're Looking For

We value creativity, execution speed, ownership and results more than degrees or certificates.

• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, LinkedIn content and current social media trends.
• Ability to independently create and edit short-form videos.
• Hands-on experience with Canva, CapCut, VN, Adobe Express or similar tools.
• Good copywriting, storytelling and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT and AI content creation tools.
• Ability to research, experiment and execute without constant supervision.
• Interest in startups, digital marketing, personal branding and career development.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with measurable goals.

Bonus Skills: Meta Ads, SEO, YouTube growth, influencer marketing, Google Analytics, lead generation and marketing automation.

Students, fresh graduates and self-taught creators are welcome. Practical skills and creativity matter more than formal qualifications.
