Role OverviewThis is a hands-on execution-heavy marketing internship focused on rural and agricultural audiences.
You will support our farmer and labour acquisition efforts across WhatsApp, on-ground activations, content creation, and campaign execution. The role involves working closely with the CEO, operations teams, and field staff to translate real farmer problems into simple, effective marketing communication.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn grassroots marketing in agriculture, not just digital ads from a desk.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Execution & Campaign Support- Assist in executing farmer and labour acquisition campaigns across WhatsApp, social media, posters, and village-level activations
- Support seasonal campaigns aligned with crop cycles (pruning, harvest, labour-intensive operations)
- Help set up and manage omni-channel strategies and message flows
Content Creation (Marathi-first)- Create simple, farmer-friendly content in Marathi: WhatsApp messages, Posters & pamphlets, Short videos, reels, and photo content
- Assist in scripting and documenting real farmer and labour stories from the field
On-Ground Marketing & Field Support- Travel with field teams for village meetings, farmer interactions, and labour onboarding drives
- Support offline marketing activities such as banner placement, meetings, and local partnerships
- Collect feedback directly from farmers and workers to improve messaging
Data, Reporting & Learning- Track basic campaign metrics (leads, responses, bookings)
- Maintain simple Excel trackers and assist in reporting weekly performance
- Learn how marketing connects to operations, supply allocation, and real outcomes on the ground
What We Are Looking ForMust-Haves- Strong communication skills in Marathi
- Comfort working with farmers, labourers, and rural communities
- Willingness to travel and spend time on the ground
- Basic working knowledge of PowerPoint, Canva, Figma or similar tools
- Curiosity, humility, and willingness to learn by doing
Good to Have- Background or interest in agriculture, rural development, or social impact
- Experience with content creation, reels, posters, or short videos
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, Meta tools, or simple digital campaigns
