Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an Online Marketing Generalist who will manage and execute end-to-end digital marketing activities to drive brand visibility, online sales, and customer engagement. The role requires hands-on execution across performance marketing, social media, content, website marketing, and analytics in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize online marketing campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and other relevant platforms
  • Manage paid campaigns (Search, Display, Social Ads) to drive traffic, leads, and sales
  • Track campaign budgets and ensure optimal ROI

2. Website & E-commerce Marketing

  • Coordinate with tech/design teams to ensure website content, banners, landing pages, and offers are updated
  • Improve website traffic, conversion rate, and user experience
  • Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and festive sales

3. Social Media & Content

  • Manage brand presence across social media platforms
  • Plan monthly content calendars aligned with brand and sales goals
  • Coordinate creatives (posts, reels, videos, banners) with internal or external teams
  • Monitor engagement, comments, and messages

4. SEO & Organic Growth

  • Support basic SEO activities such as keyword research, content optimization, and on-page improvements
  • Coordinate blogs, product descriptions, and category content
  • Track organic traffic performance

5. Email, WhatsApp & CRM Marketing

  • Execute emailers, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns for promotions and customer retention
  • Support customer lifecycle campaigns (new users, repeat customers, re-engagement)

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track daily/weekly/monthly digital performance metrics
  • Prepare MIS reports covering traffic, conversions, CAC, ROAS, and sales
  • Analyze campaign data and suggest improvements

7. Coordination & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with creative agencies, media agencies, and internal teams
  • Ensure timely execution of campaigns and deliverables

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and content planning
  • Basic understanding of SEO and website analytics
  • Analytical mindset with data interpretation skills
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setup

Tools & Platforms

  • Google Ads, Meta Business Manager
  • Google Analytics / GA4
  • Email & WhatsApp marketing tools
  • CMS (Shopify / Magento / WordPress preferred)
  • MS Excel / Google Sheets

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 25 years of experience in digital/online marketing (retail or e-commerce preferred)
  • Experience handling both brand and performance marketing is a plus
