The Role:
The Marketing Executive will support the planning and execution of marketing and communication initiatives across events, digital platforms, content, and partnerships. This role is hands-on and execution-driven, working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to deliver impactful campaigns that strengthen brand visibility, drive event participation, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate is creative, data-aware, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment with exposure to international education and emerging sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Execution & Campaign Support
- Support the development and execution of marketing plans for events and campaigns in line with overall business objectives.
- Assist in identifying target audiences and executing tailored marketing activities across channels.
- Execute both online and offline promotional activities including social media, email marketing, partnerships, and basic media outreach.
Content Creation & Coordination
- Create and manage marketing content such as social media posts, emailers, blogs, event creatives, and promotional collateral.
- Coordinate with internal content and design teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand alignment.
- Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.
Digital Marketing Support
- Execute digital marketing campaigns to drive registrations, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Support SEO initiatives, paid ads, and social media campaigns under guidance.
- Monitor campaign performance and flag opportunities for optimisation.
Partnership & Sponsorship Support
- Assist in coordinating with partners, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
- Support sponsorship outreach, communication, and basic reporting.
- Help maintain partner databases and communication trackers.
Event & Attendee Engagement
- Support engagement initiatives before, during, and after events.
- Assist in managing attendee communications, queries, and feedback.
- Coordinate on-ground or virtual engagement activities as required.
Analytics, Reporting & Research
- Track marketing campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare basic reports on KPIs such as reach, engagement, registrations, and conversions.
- Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and data collection.
- Organise data, create basic dashboards, charts, and summaries for internal reviews.
Required Skills
- Strong aesthetic sense with an interest in copywriting and creative communication.
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Ability to execute multi-channel campaigns under guidance.
- Basic understanding of brand management and content consistency.
- Good project coordination and time management skills.
- Data-oriented mindset with comfort working on reports and dashboards.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 14 years of experience in marketing, preferably in events, education, or digital marketing.
- Exposure to social media management, content creation, and event promotion.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and Excel.
- Understanding of the International Higher Education ecosystem is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
