Position: Marketing Executive (Admissions)

Qualification: Any Graduate, Previous experience in education marketing or sales is a plus, but freshers with high energy are welcome to apply.

Reporting to: Admissions Director

Location: Kolkata (Salt Lake City / Rajarhat), West Bengal and Guwahati, Assam

Salary: As per experience, Rs. 10,000 to 20,000 per month

MIT Art, Design and Technology University (MIT ADT), Pune, is looking for energetic and result-oriented Marketing Executive to join our regional admissions teams in Kolkata (Salt Lake City / Rajarhat) and Guwahati.

About the Role

As a Marketing Executive, you will be the face of the university in your region, playing a critical role in guiding students and parents through one of the most important decisions of their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Actively engage in field marketing activities, including the distribution of brochures and promotional materials at strategic locations, schools, and coaching centers.
  • Tele-Counseling: Conduct outbound calls to prospective students and parents from provided leads to explain various program offerings and USPs of MIT ADT University.
  • In-Office Counseling: Greet and assist walk-in inquiries at the regional office, providing detailed information regarding courses, eligibility, and the application process.
  • Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving admission-related doubts via phone, email, or in person.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all leads, follow-ups, and conversions using Microsoft Excel.
  • Presentation: Assist in regional seminars or webinars using PowerPoint to showcase the university's infrastructure and placement records.

Qualifications

  • Education: Any Graduate (Bachelor's degree in any stream).
  • Experience: Previous experience in education marketing or sales is a plus, but freshers with high energy are welcome to apply.
  • Language Skills: Must be fluent in English and the local language (Bengali for Kolkata / Assamese for Guwahati) to effectively communicate with parents and local stakeholders.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (for lead tracking) and PowerPoint (for presentations).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during the peak admission season (typically March to August).

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and people-first attitude.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and targets.
  • Polite and professional demeanor when dealing with parents and students.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in education marketing or sales.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: As per experience, up to Rs. 20,000 per month
