Role Summary
The Marketing & Content Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's marketing strategy, overseeing content and communication delivery, and supporting performance campaigns for ecommerce clients. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce purchase behaviour, content strategy, and cross-platform campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- Develop and manage Bulba's overall marketing roadmap and brand positioning.
- Lead multi-channel marketing initiatives across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, Meta, Google, Amazon, TikTok and email platforms.
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms for internal and client-side marketing performance.
- Plan quarterly campaigns, experiments, and growth initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Performance & Campaign Execution
- Plan, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube)
- Amazon Ads
- TikTok
- Shopify marketing automations
- Email/SMS platforms
- Analyse performance metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CTR, AOV, MER, CRM metrics and content-assisted conversions to optimize campaign outcomes.
- Develop audience strategies, funnel flows, offer testing, creative testing and retargeting plans.
Content Leadership
- Oversee the development of high-impact content for Bulba and client marketing requirements including:
- Case studies
- Landing pages and website copy
- Ad copy and scripts
- Newsletters and email campaigns
- LinkedIn and social content across platforms
- Convert campaign performance and influencer collaborations into structured, proof-based marketing assets.
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Lead weekly strategy calls and progress reviews with clients.
- Present insights, reports, projections and recommendations in a structured and professional format.
- Coordinate delivery timelines with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
- Function as a strategic consultant for clients with respect to content, campaigns, creator partnerships and marketing direction.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 47 years of experience in Marketing / Performance Marketing / Content Marketing
- Demonstrated experience managing campaigns across: Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Shopify
- Strong expertise in content strategy, direct-response copywriting and full-funnel content mapping
- Deep understanding of ecommerce and D2C buying psychology
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication, analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience working in the creator economy, UGC production or influencer-driven marketing
- Knowledge of tools such as Modash, HypeAuditor, SparkToro, Brandwatch, Klaviyo, Notion, Canva or Figma
- Experience building content scripts and briefs for creators/UGC talent
