This role focuses on maximising brand potential in terms of visibility, channel-community-stakeholder networks, thereby optimising reputation, revenue & profitability and creating unifying messaging across diverse channels to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and business growth.

Job Summary:

The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Team is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that unify messaging across all channels (digital, PR, content, events, and collaborations). This role acts as a brand guardian and a creative catalyst, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to craft compelling, consistent content that drives engagement and reinforces brand promise.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)(Applicants should be able to deliver on 2 or mor more of the following):

  • Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and implement holistic marketing and communications strategies that align PR, digital, content, events, and collaboration efforts with overall business objectives.

  • Public Relations & Media Management: Lead PR initiatives, including writing and distributing press releases, managing media inquiries, fostering relationships with journalists and industry influencers, and securing positive earned media coverage.

  • Digital Marketing: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms (search engines, social media, email, website), manage the content calendar, and optimize content for search engines (SEO) to boost online presence and user acquisition.

  • Content Creation & Management: Creation of compelling, high-quality content (articles, social posts, video scripts, marketing collateral, etc.) that is consistent with brand voice and tailored to specific channels and target audiences.

  • Event Planning, Marketing & Execution: Plan and execute local, virtual, and physical events (e.g., product launches, webinars, community engagement activations) to promote the brand, procure revenue via sponsors, ticket sales and generate leads.

  • Collaborations & Partnerships: Identify, fruitify and manage franchise / agent / partner channels / networks, institutional and affiliate tieups, collaboration opportunities and influencer partnerships to access new audiences and enhance brand visibility through co-marketing campaigns.

  • Funding Procurement: Via CSR, Crowdfunding, Grants, donations.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing and communications activities, using data and insights to optimize strategies for continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)(Applicants should be able to deliver on 2 or mor more of the following):

  • Media Coverage & Reach: Number of media placements/mentions, potential audience impressions, and share of voice compared to competitors.

  • Digital & Web Metrics: Website traffic (unique visitors, pageviews), earned traffic, conversion rates (sign-ups, purchases), bounce rate, and search engine rankings (SEO performance).

  • Social Media Engagement: Number of followers, engagement rate (likes, comments, shares), brand mentions/tags, and sentiment analysis of social conversations.

  • Content Effectiveness: Content downloads (e.g., whitepapers), content engagement metrics, and lead generation from content marketing efforts.

  • Event Success: Event attendance numbers (virtual and physical), lead capture at events, participant feedback/satisfaction ratings, and event ROI.

  • Collaboration Impact: Number of successful partnerships established, reach of influencer campaigns, and sales/conversions driven via affiliate links or co-marketing efforts.

  • Brand Perception: Changes in brand awareness and reputation metrics (e.g., NPS or customer satisfaction ratings).
