Role Description

This is a full-time role offering for a Marketing Communications Manager -

Remote working candidates preferably based out of Mumbai or Bangalore with regular required travels to Visakhapatnam.

Full - time on-site working at Visakhapatnam will be considered.

The Marketing Communications Manager will oversee the execution of strategic communication initiatives, develop and implement marketing communication campaigns, and create impactful press releases. Additional responsibilities include managing projects, ensuring timely deliverables, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintaining alignment with the organization's goals and values while promoting Pema's unique brand and offerings. The MARCOM Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that align with the resort's positioning as a premier wellness destination. This role combines brand development, public relations, social media management, and advertising to increase visibility, guest engagement, and occupancy rates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to promote the resort's wellness services, facilities, and special packages.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing / Management to create annual marketing plans and budgets.

2. Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the resort's brand identity, ensuring all marketing materials align with luxury and wellness brand standards.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Design and execute campaigns that showcase the resort's unique selling points, such as wellness programs, luxury accommodation, and guest experiences.
  • Reviewing the marketing and creative needs of every department at Pema and coordination
  • Handling the brand collaterals and ensuring standards of font, pantone, etc. are followed and adhered to

3. Content Creation & Management:

  • Oversee the development of all resort collateral, including brochures, newsletters, websites, and press releases.
  • Create compelling content that highlights the resort's offerings and guest experiences, including wellness programs, dining experiences, and cultural activities.
  • Manage photography, videography, and other creative assets for marketing campaigns.

4. Digital & Social Media Management:

  • Develop and manage social media strategies to increase engagement, brand visibility, and online reputation.
  • Maintain the resort's website, ensuring content is current, SEO-friendly, and aligned with marketing goals.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools like email marketing, Google Ads, and social media advertising to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Coordination & liaise between & with agencies - Lead Generation Agency, PR Agency, Marketing, Creative Agency etc

5. Public Relations & Media Relations:

  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and bloggers to promote the resort.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, news articles, and media kits.
  • Organize and host media visits, influencers stays, and press events to generate coverage.

6. Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote and market guest events, wellness programs, and retreats.
  • Coordinate external speaker engagements, health talks, and community wellness initiatives to drive brand recognition.
  • Partner with event managers to create marketing strategies for special events and seasonal promotions.

7. Advertising & Promotional Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute advertising campaigns in print, online, and outdoor media.
  • Manage the design, placement, and performance tracking of ads to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Develop co-marketing partnerships with luxury wellness brands, tour operators, and regional tourism boards.

8. Guest Communication & Feedback:

  • Create communication strategies to keep guests informed of resort activities, wellness programs, and offers.
  • Manage guest feedback channels (TripAdvisor, Google reviews, etc.) and respond to reviews in a manner that maintains the resort's image.
  • Implement guest satisfaction surveys and analyze results for marketing insights.

9. Analytics & Reporting:

  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives using KPIs such as social media engagement, website traffic, and revenue impact.
  • Conduct post-campaign analyses to evaluate success and suggest improvements for future efforts.
  • Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media insights to track digital performance.

10. Budget Management:

  • Oversee the marketing communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing ROI for all marketing initiatives.

DESIRED PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7-9+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role or individual leadership role
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and marketing automation software
  • Strong knowledge of the wellness industry, hospitality, health trends, and luxury brand positioning.
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, SEO, and campaign management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align marketing initiatives with broader resort goals.
  • Branding Expertise: In-depth understanding of luxury and wellness markets.
  • Creativity: Strong content creation skills across various media formats.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and adjust strategies based on performance.
  • Digital Savvy: Proficient in digital marketing tools, social media management, and SEO.
  • Team Collaboration: Work well with cross-functional teams including FO, Sales, F&B, Clinic, Events, and Guest Relations.
