Job Description: Business Development Executive (Institutional Tie-ups)
Role Summary: We are looking for a high-energy, field-oriented Business Development Executive to expand our footprint in the language proficiency and test-prep sector. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, visit, and sign partnership agreements with training institutes (PTE, TOEFL, GRE, ACT, LANGUAGECERT) to integrate our [Product/Services] into their offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Outreach: Identify and physically visit coaching centers and language training institutes in your assigned territory.
- Partnership Management: Pitch the value proposition of our product to Institute Directors and Owners to secure strategic tie-ups.
- Lead Generation: Generate a pipeline of new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, and networking within the education industry.
- Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations for institute staff and, occasionally, seminars for their students.
- Relationship Building: Maintain long-term relationships with existing partners to ensure high engagement and repeat business.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity in the local area and provide feedback to the product/marketing team.
Requirements:
- Experience: 13 years in Field Sales, EdTech, or Education-related business development.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Study Abroad ecosystem (PTE, TOEFL, GRE, ACT, LANGUAGECERT) is a major plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and persuasive skills in [Language 1] and [Language 2].
- Mobility: Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to travel daily within the city/assigned region.
- Target-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales/tie-up targets.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to negotiate win-win revenue-sharing or partnership models.
- Strong presentation skills (Comfortable speaking in front of a classroom).
- Basic proficiency in CRM tools or Google Sheets for lead tracking.
