Role:
We're seeking a skilled Marketing Automation Developer to join our sports analytics team. You'll be responsible for the creation of complex campaigns & journeys in Braze, and maintaining required attributes and segments. You'll also be implementing Liquid logic across email, push, and in-app messages to drive customer engagement and retention, working closely with marketing and product teams to deliver dynamic, data-driven communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize multichannel Braze campaigns and automated journeys using Canvas & Liquid logic.
- Develop responsive, scalable email and message templates using HTML/CSS & dynamic personalization.
- Manage customer attributes, events, and segmentation to support precise targeting & lifecycle programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Liquid logic, data integration, and message rendering.
- Analyze campaign performance and apply insights to improve personalization and segmentation.
- Collaborate with lifecycle marketing, product, and engineering teams to support campaign execution.
Candidate Profile:
- Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in email or lifecycle marketing development.
- Hands-on experience with Braze.
- Experience with Braze features like Canvas, Connected Content, and Custom Attributes.
- Proficiency in Liquid templating language and dynamic content logic.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills and experience with responsive design.
- Familiarity with customer data structures, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of JSON, REST APIs, and integrating external data sources.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and iterate on template logic.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
