About the Company

The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for owning and executing email marketing and marketing automation initiatives using HubSpot. This role focuses on building, optimising, and scaling email campaigns, workflows, and lifecycle programs that drive engagement, lead conversion, and revenue. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with deep experience in HubSpot and email marketing best practices.

About the Role

The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for owning and executing email marketing and marketing automation initiatives using HubSpot.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and execute email campaigns including nurture marketing, lead nurturing, product updates, re-engagement, and retention campaigns.
  • Own and manage the email calendar, ensuring consistent and high-quality communication.
  • Create, test, and optimize email templates for deliverability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Manage email list segmentation, suppression, and hygiene.
  • Own HubSpot Marketing Hub configuration and day-to-day management.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows, sequences, and lifecycle programs.
  • Develop and optimise lead scoring models and lifecycle stage definitions.
  • Ensure accurate data flow between HubSpot and CRM systems (Sales Hub / Salesforce).
  • Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, CTR, conversions, and pipeline impact.
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times, and workflows.
  • Create dashboards and performance reports in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with content, demand generation, and sales teams to align automation with campaign goals.
  • Support sales teams with automated alerts, notifications, and email tools.
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email regulations.
  • Maintain brand voice and stay updated on HubSpot features and email marketing trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 36+ years of experience in email marketing or marketing automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • Proven experience building automated email workflows and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with email and funnel reporting.
