Job Brief
We are looking for a Global Marketing Automation Campaign Management Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns and lifecycle journeys across multi-regions including India, North America, Australia, Europe, AME and SEA.
This role is firmly positioned within the Global Marketing function and focuses on campaign orchestration, lifecycle marketing, and lead nurturing across Email and WhatsApp channels.
The incumbent will partner closely with Digital Marketing, Regional Marketing, Sales, and CRM teams to deliver scalable, insight-driven, and compliant customer journeys that support demand generation, pipeline acceleration, revenue growth using a localized customer journeys while ensuring compliance with regional regulations and time-zone-based execution.
Role & responsibilities
Global Marketing Campaign Management + Automation
- Plan and execute multi-region campaign rollouts across India, North America, Australia, Europe, and SEA, ensuring:
- Consistent global Marketing Campaigns journey architecture
- Regional content localization
- Time-zone-based scheduling and suppression logic
- Design and manage end-to-end global marketing campaigns journeys combining Email and WhatsApp, aligned to the full customer lifecycle from lead acquisition to re-engagement and retention.
- Build marketing channels-orchestrated workflows based on lead behaviour, engagement signals, lifecycle stage, and consent
- Create global and regional campaigns and individual campaigns journeys for lead nurturing, re-engagement, event/webinar promotions, reminders, follow-ups, and retention
- Ensure consistent global messaging frameworks while enabling regional localization (language, timing, compliance, and market needs)
- Maintain data hygiene, deduplication, governance, deliverability, and message frequency controls across regions
WhatsApp Marketing & Conversational Campaigns
- Plan and execute WhatsApp-based marketing campaigns to drive lead engagement, event and webinar promotions, reminders, follow-ups, and ongoing lead nurturing
- Create and manage WhatsApp marketing journeys, including message templates, triggers, and automated flows aligned with campaign objectives and customer lifecycle stages
- Collaborate with internal teams and platform partners to integrate WhatsApp Business API solutions (e.g., Twilio, Gupshup, WATI, Yellow.ai, or similar) with Salesforce/Fresh marketers marketing cloud
- Ensure opt-in management, message frequency control, and compliance with regional WhatsApp policies
Lead Lifecycle Management
- Own and standardize marketing-led lead lifecycle definitions (Inquiry → MQL → SQL → Opportunity) consistent lead status visibility across regions
- Define global and regional lead scoring, grading, and qualification logic using multi-channel engagement data
- Oversee CRM-integrated lead status views and dashboards to enable clear tracking of lead progression from marketing engagement to sales handover
- Monitor lead movement and drop-offs across lifecycle stages, using insights to optimize marketing journeys and improve conversion rates
- Work closely with global and regional marketer teams to optimize lead handover, SLAs, and conversion rates
Regional Compliance, Consent & Marketing Governance
- Ensure compliance with GDPR (Europe), CAN-SPAM (North America), WhatsApp Business policies, and other regional data protection regulations
- Manage marketing consent, opt-ins, preference centers, suppression rules, and unsubscribe logic across Email and WhatsApp
- Document global marketing campaigns automation standards, campaign playbooks, and regional execution guidelines
Analytics, Reporting & Performance Insights
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track journey-wise performance across Email + WhatsApp campaigns, with views segmented by:
- Journey type (Lead Nurture, Event/Webinar, Re-engagement, Dealer/Partner Onboarding, Customer Lifecycle)
- Region (India, North America, Australia, Europe, SEA)
- Funnel stage (Inquiry → MQL → SQL → Opportunity → Order Won)
- Define and own a global measurement framework for marketing automation, ensuring clear linkage between journey performance, lead progression, pipeline impact, and revenue contribution across regions.
- Deliver objective, insight-led performance overview to global and regional stakeholders.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing automation with global or multi-region exposure
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing integrated Email and WhatsApp marketing campaigns using automated journeys and triggers
- Strong practical experience with one or more enterprise marketing campaigns automation platforms (Salesforce/Marketo/ HubSpot etc)
- Understanding of CRM integrations, global lead management, and consent handling
- Experience managing regional segmentation, localization, and time-zone-based execution
- Working knowledge of HTML/email templates and landing page builders
Good to Have
- Experience in B2B, manufacturing, SaaS, or enterprise global marketing
- Experience with API-based integrations, Zapier, or custom connectors
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Analytics, and website tracking
- Certifications in marketing automation platforms or WhatsApp Business solutions
