Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dynamic Sales, Marketing, and Business Development Interns / Freshers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are interested in pharmaceutical sales, client communication, supplier outreach, lead generation, and marketing support.

In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients, help manage inquiries, support lead generation, coordinate product and certification details, and contribute to the overall growth of apicule. This is a full-time opportunity offering hands-on exposure to sales, marketing, and business development in a high-growth startup environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cold calls and cold emails to potential clients and suppliers
  • Reach out to API manufacturers and suppliers to collect updated product lists, certifications, purity grades, and pricing details
  • Communicate with potential clients to understand their API requirements and offer suitable sourcing support
  • Manage and respond to incoming inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Support lead generation through LinkedIn, email outreach, follow-ups, and database research
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier communication, client interactions, and follow-up status
  • Assist in updating product catalogues, supplier information, and internal databases
  • Support quotations, documentation, sample coordination, and follow-ups
  • Help create basic marketing materials such as product flyers, supplier highlights, and capability presentations
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to support sales and business growth
  • Assist management with daily coordination and operational support tasks
  • Support outbound and inbound business development activities to expand the sales pipeline
  • Help qualify leads, capture client requirements, and coordinate with internal teams for closure support
  • Assist in campaign tracking and basic performance reporting
  • Maintain and optimize product and supplier listings with regular updates from manufacturers

Eligibility / Qualifications
  • Interns (not currently studying, graduated) and Freshers only (Recently graduated)
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, BBA, MBA, or related fields preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Confidence in speaking with clients and suppliers over calls and emails
  • Interest in sales, marketing, business development, and the pharmaceutical/API industry
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Excel, Word, and email tools
  • Strong organizational skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products or APIs is a plus
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and eagerness to grow in a startup environment

Compensation
Salary / stipend will be decided based on interview performance, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
