Position Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and customer-driven Market Unit Manager to accelerate growth in the Food and Nutrition segment.
This role focuses on business development, building strategic partnerships with customers and principals, and delivering innovative ingredient solutions that drive market success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth strategies for the Food & Nutrition Segment to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across food manufacturers and co-packers.
- Build strong partnerships with global principals and suppliers, ensuring product relevance and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with customers to identify innovation needs and coordinate application trials or concept developments with the technical team.
- Manage the commercial pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and project closing.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Support marketing and promotion of new products and sustainable ingredient solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure business execution.
Position Requirements & Key Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 7–15 years experience in food ingredients trading, distribution, or manufacturing, with focus on Food & Nutrition.
- Demonstrated success in business development and key account management within Food & Nutrition.
- Experience collaborating with international ingredient principals
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and proficient with CRM and business reporting tools.
