Job Overview

Function Overview

This pivotal role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the market supply planning activities, specifically focusing on finished product planning executed by the Logistics Operations team. The Manager will be instrumental in driving the continuous enhancement and strategic evolution of planning capabilities, meticulously evaluating their impact on critical business KPIs. A key responsibility will be to champion global scalability and standardization initiatives across all planning functions. This role will foster strategic partnerships with regional planning teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure the consistent implementation, optimization, and governance of global planning standards.

Key Accountabilities

Supply Planning / Inventory Planning

  • Own market supply planning including product availability management, inventory strategy definition and stock optimization
  • Own supply chain interface between market SC and upstream (plants/ESC) supply
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment of stock to origin W/H from plant based on Demand insights
  • Minimize shortage risks and proactively communicate risks to market SC team
  • Manage the stock policy & shelf life to ensure service and reduce product waste
  • Accurate maintenance of supply parameters (master data) in SAP / OMP and other systems (MTS model)
  • Collaborate with in market SC team to enable value through HMM & other initiatives

Process and Procedures

  • Demand Consolidation and Variance validation for International Markets
  • Own monthly production regrouping strategy decision making for all markets (MTO/MTS)
  • Own Weekly Supply Sufficiency analysis and execution. Escalate the supply sufficiency gaps proactively with plants and CSPs
  • Represent markets in weekly S&OE meetings with plants for timely visibility and resolution of operational supply challenges
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
  • Validate system-driven activities and system out put
  • Run supply segmentation models, including analyzing the segmentation standards and providing ongoing feedback to refresh/update.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain and develop relationships with key partners and regional supply COE's to encourage best practice sharing and cross functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders within supply chain including but not limited to Regional supply COE,Concurrent supply planners, IPL, Deployment, Replenishment, Finite planners, Inventory analysts and Integrated Scenario modelers to incorporate strategies and drive solver performance.
  • Partner and understand stakeholders requirements across all regional supply teams and collaborate with Planning & Logistics operations team in GIC for business solution development.
  • Provide analytical and data support to the supply planning lead (COE), concurrent supply planners, finite schedulers, material planners (Region), Customer Service and Logistics.
  • Capture inventory and supply plan alerts and exceptions and triage for Concurrent Supply Planners, Finite Schedulers, and Material Planners
  • Maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders, encourage and enhance cross function collaborations

Metrics Governance and Continuous Improvement

  • Own MTO and MTS specific metric analysis and publication
  • Identify Automation opportunities of Metric calculation and analysis
  • Identify additional in-process metrics
  • Strengthen Governance through DDS/WDS/MDS
  • Conduct Loss Analysis to identify gaps between current and future state processes to enable Process standardization
  • Collaborating with CSFs and GIC deployment team to improve Exports Planning
  • Bui ld and improve WoW with stakeholders (Markets, OBS, Plants and planning team through SLAs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university
  • 4 Years of experience in Supply Chain domain (planning, forecasting process, basic operations, inventory planning, and statistical analysis)
  • Understanding of planning tools (SAP ERP and OMP)
  • Understanding of data process and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Ability to process and evaluate large data sets
  • Ability to navigate through matrix organization and a broad spectrum of Global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters in Operations / Supply Chain Management
  • CSCMP, APICS
