Job Description

Location: Superleap HQ, Koramangala, Bengaluru

Type: Internship (6 Months) | Work-from-office (MonFri, 11 AM8 PM)

Reports to: Subham Kumar Boundia (Co-founder & CEO)

The Problem We're Solving

Most CRM platforms are complex, outdated, and require sales teams to do all the heavy lifting.

We're solving this by building an AI-first CRM that reduces manual effort, simplifies workflows, and helps teams focus on what matters most selling.

To build and scale this effectively, we need deep market, competitor, and customer insights.

That's where this role plays a key part.

Why This Role Matters

As a Market Research Intern, you'll work at the heart of Superleap's go-to-market engine.

Your research will help us:

  • Understand competitors and market positioning
  • Refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and buyer personas
  • Strengthen sales messaging and enablement
  • Identify new market and growth opportunities

You'll work directly with senior leaders, contribute to strategy, and see your insights translate into real business decisions. This is a rare opportunity to learn how a fast-scaling SaaS company builds and wins its market.

What You'll Do

Market & Competitive Research

  • Conduct extensive research on the CRM industry, competitors, and product categories
  • Support competitive intelligence and feature benchmarking

Customer & Sales Insights

  • Help refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and buyer personas
  • Assist the sales team by profiling and researching client lists
  • Create sales enablement materials such as battle cards and comparison sheets

Strategy & Analysis

  • Monitor industry and technology trends in AI, CRM, and sales tools
  • Support market sizing and opportunity analysis
  • Assist in win/loss analysis to understand sales outcomes

Primary Research & Knowledge Management

  • Support Voice of the Customer research (interviews, feedback analysis)
  • Track customer reviews across platforms for insights
  • Maintain and organize internal research documentation and knowledge bases

What We're Looking For

PG or MBA Students interested in marketing, SaaS, research, or startups

Strong research and analytical thinking

Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset

Comfortable with spreadsheets, online research, and basic tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills
