Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Market Research Intern at Laneway. The intern will support market research projects by gathering data from various sources, analyzing industry trends, and identifying customer and competitor insights. Day-to-day work includes preparing research summaries, assisting in creating reports and presentations, and organizing data in clear, structured formats for internal and client use. The intern will collaborate with consulting and marketing teams to translate research findings into practical recommendations and support ongoing business development initiatives. The role also involves participating in team meetings, documenting findings, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Strong market-focused skills, including Market Research and Market Analysis, with the ability to interpret trends and identify opportunities.
  • Solid Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, basic quantitative analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for reports, presentations, and team collaboration.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with Customer Service skills that support understanding user needs and stakeholder expectations.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides); familiarity with research tools or survey platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Interest in consulting, startups, and technology-driven businesses; prior internship or project experience in these areas is beneficial.
