Role Overview:

The Market Analyst will support our defense business by delivering actionable market intelligence, identifying growth opportunities, and enabling strategic decision-making. The role will focus on tracking defense trends, competitor landscape, government policies, and emerging technologies to strengthen our market positioning.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Conduct in-depth market research on the defense sector, including domestic and global trends

Analyze defense budgets, procurement plans, and policy developments to identify business opportunities

Track competitors, partnerships, and new entrants within the defense ecosystem

Develop market intelligence reports, insights, and strategic briefs for leadership

Identify potential clients, tenders, and upcoming projects across defense segments

Support business development teams with data-backed insights and opportunity mapping

Monitor geopolitical developments and assess their impact on defense demand and spending

Build and maintain databases of key stakeholders, contracts, and industry developments

Collaborate with internal teams to align market insights with product and service offerings

Prepare presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries for senior leadership

Ideal candidate will:

MBA (from a reputed institute) with a specialization in Strategy

Engineering graduate (preferred)

2-5 years of experience in market research or consulting roles

Understanding of defense procurement processes and regulatory framework

Good understanding of defense markets landscape and key players
