Marine Technical Assistant

We are inviting applications for the position of Marine Technical Assistant working from office.

Key Responsibilities

1) Review and Analyse Marine Technical Data for accuracy received from various Marine Technical Services offered by Sinotech Marine.

2) Coordinate with Superintendents, Surveyors and consultants for the technical service delivery, acquiring required information and clarification in their technical inspection/audit reports.

3)Assisting Technical Manager on day-to-day basis on technical matters.

4) Develop understanding of Marine Surveying, Ship Inspection and Audits, and Repair and drydocking.

5) Update technical information in the company's IT System.

Requirements

1) Marine Engineer/Naval Architect/Trainee Marine Engineer educational background preferred.

2) Previous experience in Technical Department of a Ship Management Company or Technical Service company preferred.

3) Sea going experience as Junior Engineer or 4th Engineer will have an added advantage.

4) Good Command on English both written and verbal. Good technical writing skills with accuracy.

5) Sound knowledge of Basic Marine Technical.

6) Work efficiently to the timelines.
