We are seeking a highly qualified Infrastructure Expert to serve as a Resident Consultant at the client Office. The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and reporting of a major cruise tourism and port infrastructure development assignment. In addition to technical project delivery, the consultant will support the functioning and provide expert advisory services.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
1. Project Management & Advisory Services
- Operate from the client Office on a regular basis for the full tenure of the assignment.
- Monitor and report on the day-to-day progress of the project.
- Support and assist the client in the functioning of the ongoing projects.
2. Infrastructure & Feasibility Assessment
- Undertake comprehensive baseline studies.
- Support in collating details and preparation of report from preliminary assessments.
- Assess preliminary dredging requirements, marine works, and utility requirements
3. Tourism & Hospitality Integration
- Evaluate hotel infrastructure, commercial areas, and basic amenities to support cruise terminal operations.
- Identify and analyze tourist attractions
- Conduct gap analyses to ensure infrastructure meets
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Contribute to the creation of knowledge repository.
- Assist in drafting consolidated pre-feasibility reports,
Required Qualifications & Experience
Post Graduate degree in Civil Engineering OR Port & Harbour Engineering OR Ocean Engineering.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of total professional experience in the field of construction or infrastructure projects.
- Key Project Requirement: The candidate must have successfully completed at least one (or more) infrastructure/construction project with a total project cost exceeding Rs. 75 Crores.
