Position Overview
Kanakia International School, Mira Road, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Marathi Teacher for the
Primary Section. The candidate should be passionate about teaching the Marathi language and literature, with the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment aligned with the ICSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Marathi language to primary grade students as per ICSE guidelines
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Develop students reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
- Use creative teaching methods, stories, rhymes, and activities to enhance learning
- Assess and evaluate students progress through worksheets, tests, and projects
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
- Prepare students for internal assessments and examinations
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and school events
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marathi or related subject
- B.Ed preferred
- Minimum 23 years of teaching experience (ICSE experience preferred)
- Excellent command over Marathi language (written and spoken)
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to handle primary students with care and patience
