Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for a Manufacturing/Supply Chain Engineer. In this role, you will manage and optimize supply chain processes, oversee procurement activities, and contribute to industrial engineering projects that enhance product manufacturing. You will analyze data to improve efficiency, collaborate with internal teams, and communicate effectively with external suppliers and stakeholders to ensure alignment across the workflow.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills for assessing data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement for streamlined operations and effective resource planning
  • Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and their application in manufacturing and supply chain optimization
  • Ability to work independently and remotely within a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Familiarity with smart appliances, robotics, or embedded systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and methodologies used for supply chain and industrial engineering
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, supply chain, or operations for physical products
  • Experience working with overseas factories (China, South Korea, Taiwan)
  • Strong understanding of cost optimization, yield, and production workflows
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with tooling, BOM management, and manufacturing constraints
