Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality assurance, and team management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Manage and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Coordinate with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to optimize production processes.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for management on performance and areas for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools, such as ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to drive team performance and engagement.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills to address production issues and implement effective solutions.
