Role: Manufacturing Process Consultant

We are hiring a Manufacturing Process Consultant to support an AI-led modernization initiative for Product Change Management in a global manufacturing setup. This role will bridge manufacturing domain expertise with AI engineering teams to drive process optimization and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct process discovery through stakeholder interviews across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Quality
- Map and document end-to-end Product Change processes (PCO, ECN, ECR)
- Analyze workflows across ERP (SAP), PLM, and document management systems
- Translate manufacturing processes into AI-ready workflows and automation inputs
- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
- Collaborate with AI/engineering teams on use cases like BOM validation, change classification, and risk analysis
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years in manufacturing operations / industrial engineering / PLM
- Strong expertise in Engineering Change Management (PCO, ECN, ECR)
- Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) & PLM tools (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
- Hands-on experience in process mapping, documentation & stakeholder management
- Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional global teams
Preferred
- Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma / Operations Excellence
- Experience in PLM implementations or digital transformation initiatives
- Understanding of BOM structures & production workflows
