Manufacturing Engineer - SCM

Roles & Responsibilities - Structural Cost Reduction support

•            Structural Cost Reduction planning covering ideation, activation, and implementation across multiple commodities and units

•            Drive Structural Cost Reduction ideation through sourcing leverage, design alternatives, process changes, and global supplier optimization

•            Convert ideas into activated projects with clear scope, owners, and savings logic

•            Execute end to end Structural Cost Reduction projects until implementation and benefit realization, ensuring savings are structurally locked.

•            Ensure cross functional execution involving SCM, QE, ME, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering.

•            Coordinate with India GSS, Global SCM, and Unit SCM teams to align sourcing strategy.

•            Work closely with CI Buyers and Cost Management to convert CI ideas into structural savings, not short term fixes.

Requirement-

•            Min. 4 years of Structural Cost Reduction experience/ Global Sourcing

•            Commodity- manufacturing and costing experience

•            SAP- MM end user

•            Power Bi if yes, well and good

•            Clean and Clear communication – verbal, written
