Role Description
Type: Full-Time - On-Site, On-Floor, In-Office (Subject to project or work allocation)
Location: Zak GIDC, Vahelal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Salary Range: 2,50,000 INR – 4,50,000 INR per annum (subject to experience and performance)
Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Work Schedule: 6 working days per week
Responsibilities
- Handle execution of manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly.
- Support operations such as precision cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding, welding (MIG/TIG/Arc), and fitting of components.
- Interpretation of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ensure assembly of mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete systems as per design standards.
- Planning and coordination of raw materials, tools, and consumables required for production and maintenance of existing machinery.
- Monitoring production quality and conducting dimensional and visual inspections.
- Ensuring adherence to safety standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Vendor coordination for outsourced machining or fabrication processes.
- Troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Documentation of production data, process parameters, and quality reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech) is preferred; a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering may also be considered.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and mechanical systems.
- Practical knowledge of assembly operations and workshop practices.
- Excellent understanding of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of GD&T and material properties.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and process discipline.
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Selection Process
The selection process will comprise three stages:
- HR Round
- Practical/Technical Assessment (Shop-floor Evaluation)
- Final Managerial Round
