Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standard manufacturing methods for aerospace mechanical and electrical system assembly and integration.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation as per AS9100 standards.
- Conduct time and motion studies on critical processes such as wiring harness, chassis integration, and system assembly.
- Collaborate with project, assembly integration, and manufacturing departments to streamline processes and testing methods.
- Support process improvements and layout planning.
- Participate in Kaizen and Lean projects to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare work instructions and SOPs to help standardize manufacturing processes.
- Conduct capacity studies and value stream mapping (VSM).
- Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure process quality.
- Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation.
Mandatory Skills :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing methods engineering.
- Strong experience in preparing SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
- Proficient in process improvement techniques and layout planning.
- Experience with Kaizen, Lean, and value stream mapping (VSM).
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
Desired Skills:
- ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to troubleshoot shop-floor issues.
- Experience with Kanban implementation.
- Familiarity with Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and visual management.
