Position: Manual Testing Intern

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Duration: [3/6 months]

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Manual Testing Intern to join our QA team. The intern will assist in testing software applications, identifying defects, documenting test results, and ensuring the overall quality of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand functional requirements and create basic test scenarios

• Execute manual test cases based on project requirements

• Identify, document, and track defects with proper steps to reproduce

• Assist in functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing

• Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product teams

• Maintain test documentation and update test case repositories

• Participate in daily standups and QA review sessions

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC

• Familiarity with types of testing (functional, regression, smoke, UAT, etc.)

• Knowledge of writing test cases and bug reporting

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of databases and ability to run simple SQL queries

• Exposure to web or mobile application testing

• Understanding of API testing concepts
